Gary L. Jones has over 20 years’ leadership experience as a human resources generalist with specialization in EEO, wage and hour, affirmative action and employee relations. He has extensive knowledge in the hospitality industry with Holiday Inns, Promus Hotels Corporation and Hilton Worldwide where he held the position of Vice President, Human Resources – Western North America. He also has nonprofit experience with ALSAC/St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital partnering with division senior leaders in organizational design, workforce management and succession planning.
Gary has been involved in successfully facilitating multiple organizational division restructures. He has significant experience in human resources project management and policy and handbook development. Gary has designed training programs and facilitated workshops in the areas of customer service, diversity, performance management, wage and hour and employee relations. Gary has a keen interest in selection, assessment and competency development. He has successfully coached both new and seasoned managers using 360-degree results, and was instrumental in developing the succession planning program for ALSAC.
Gary holds masters’ degrees in Management from Indiana Wesleyan University and Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Kansas State University. He holds the Senior Professional Human Resources designation from the Human Resources Certification Institute and the SHRM-SCP designation from the Society for Human Resource Management Association.
