Business is evolving at an increasingly rapid rate, and leaders must keep pace with the changes or risk stagnation. People work differently, are motivated differently, and have different expectations today—business as usual is quickly losing its effectiveness. The Leadership Challenge helps you stay current, relevant, and effective in the modern workplace.
Everyone has a brand, whether strong or weak, whether developed deliberately or by circumstance. Your brand is not necessarily about your personality or whether you’re an introvert or extrovert. It’s also not about trying to be something you’re not. In this half-day workshop will explore the key components of a strong, effective personal brand and help you develop a brand that fits you. We’ll also develop actions you can take to reinforce your brand as ‘people strong brands are able to achieve more of what they want by being more of who they are.
Executive Presence (EP) is a term that is often difficult to define yet almost all leaders say is important to have. It is often associated with self-confidence, charisma, gravitas, ability to command a room, but what does all the mean? In a Talent Pulse study by the Human Capital Institute (HCI), “92% of participants agreed that EP is an important part of leadership, 15% say a lack of EP can derail a career and 51% said that it is an accelerator that propels a career forward by differentiating individuals. Further, 77% agreed that those with high levels for EP profess quickly in their careers.” I think the same might be said of having a strong, positive Personal Brand. Based on this study alone, does it make sense to focus some attention on understanding it and focusing some effort in growing it?
In this half-day workshop we will endeavor to
- Understand Executive Presence in relation to your Personal Brand
- Understand the key components of Executive Presence
- Evaluate yourself on those key components
- Create an Action Plan to build your Executive Presence
Results, retention, and morale flourish in organizations that embrace accountability. Why? Because accountable individuals negotiate clear agreements, build strong partnerships and are more in control of outcomes. As a result, they are less stressed, more productive and more prepared to meet the challenges of shrinking resources and mounting expectations.
The Accountability Experience is a detailed, step-by-step program that helps participants discover the powerful personal and organizational benefits of individual accountability through a three-step process:
- Responsibility: Claiming ownership of a task
- Self-Empowerment: Taking personal action to complete the task
- Accountability: Answering for the outcome
Having gone through all the aspects, participants will get things done more effectively, feel a sense of accomplishment in their jobs, develop stronger, more positive relationships, and improve personal productivity.

For years the corporate world has been asking for people with good skills and work experience. However, the rules have changed. Employers now are focusing on how they can recruit the right employees, retain them and motivate them to achieve their maximum potential. Knowledge of an individual’s attitudes can help us tell WHY they do things. In this workshop we will examine six attitudes via the use of the Managing For Success – Personal Interests, Attitudes and Values assessment. When applying this knowledge in the workshop, participants will understand why they make the decisions they make and why conflicts can arise. They will see why others view the world differently and value different things in life. Attitudes will open an individual’s eyes to a new understanding of themselves and the people around them. This workshop can be adapted to a half or full day and can be very effective for teambuilding programs, organizations working on individual diversity/inclusion or those struggling with conflict.
