Customized Teambuilding and Meeting Facilitation:
Building teams is a process — not an event. And ongoing team development is crucial to continuous improvement and team effectiveness. Harmony can work with leaders to conduct teambuilding programs as a part of regular meetings or work with leaders to incorporate team building in regular or special focus meetings.
These programs can vary in length and complexity and can involve relatively passive or highly experiential activities. In most cases Harmony attempts to incorporate real work challenges, objectives or events into the program so that teams walk away with actual work outcomes or plans which become actionable.
No matter what level of teamwork your group is performing, Harmony can create a custom program that will enhance team member engagement, efficiency, effectiveness and, help your team to perform at a higher level.
One of our popular ‘off the shelf’ programs is The 5 Foundations of a Team:
This program turns Patrick Lencioni’s The Five Dysfunctions of a Team 180 degrees and looks at the key characteristics of effective and high performing teams: Trust, Healthy Conflict, Accountability, Commitment, and Attention to Results.
Using a team self-assessment approach, Harmony analyzes the propensity of these foundations in your team(s).
In customizing the program, Harmony works with the Sponsor to identify work-related activities that will allow the team to practice the Foundations in a safe and secure learning environment.
Objectives:
- Build knowledge of the effective components of Teams
- Develop the effectiveness of the team to engage in the 5 Foundations
- Increase the effectiveness and efficiency of the team to accomplish their goals
- Improve the engagement of all members of the team
This program can be customized to run one or more days depending on the depth the team wants to go into for each foundation. The program can also be delivered via a series of modules lasting from 1.5 hours to one or two days each.
