
Jeanne Gray Carr has over 30 years’ experience in executive coaching, team/peer coaching, leadership consulting, program design/facilitation, and corporate Human Resources. Prior to launching her coaching career, Jeanne served five years as the CEO/president of a tri-state women’s healthcare agency and VP of Human Resources for a 40-state specialty retail chain. Her focus has always been on accelerating the development of high potential people, building high performing teams, and executing strategy to achieve business goals. Jeanne has worked with global for-profit and non-profit organizations undergoing pandemic-related disruption, leadership changes, and restructuring in health care, education, transportation, the arts, financial services, manufacturing, research & development, and conservation. In addition, she has written 17 Playbooks on a wide variety of leadership topics.

Client Results:
Coached the CEO/president of a large medical group comprised of over 175 physician practices and 22 members of his executive leadership team. With executive coaching, Jeanne focused on increasing collaboration, developing political acumen, and holding people accountable. With cohort-based team coaching, she focused on identifying and developing talent, succession planning, and holding themselves and each other accountable. All leaders developed and completed individual action learning plans, and the executive team built a solid bench of nurses/medical assistants. The medical group continues adding new practices.
Coached a Chinese American woman at a Fortune 100 global freight organization over a period of seven years, multiple coaching engagements, and a series of rapid promotions. Most recently she “skipped a level,” was promoted to corporate VP, and serves on the 15-member executive leadership committee. Jeanne concentrated on her executive presence, communicating to other executives in a focused, clear manner, and building an actively engaged, high performing team. The client’s success resulted in cascading promotions of team members, multiple media requests for interviews and speaking engagements, and writing a book.
Coached an African American woman from her initial manager’s role at a large metro school district through multiple promotions and a job change to a large national organization focused on dramatically improving educational outcomes for U.S. public schools. Most recently because of an impending promotion to CEO, Jeanne focused on building internal/external coalitions, assessing and developing high potential team members, and ensuring that the client’s vision and goals cascaded throughout the complex, multi-state organization.
